Carnegie Mellon Computer Science Students Need Your Help

All CMU CS people have to take 15-251 Great Theoretical Ideas in Computer Science in their second semester of Freshman year.

The current teacher, Luis Von Ahn (creator of CAPTCHA), likes to assign puzzle hunts based on discrete math problems that we have learned over the semester. Needless to say, it's quite hard.

However, he's offering us an extension, but only if we can get 1500 people to join his Facebook group by 9 AM EST. Please join and help us out! And ask your friends to! Its nearly 4am here, so our last hope is on Asia, Europe, and the West Coast! (Or you late nighters ) http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=11478988862

Holy crap! I didn't know you were an ex-FIRSTer! You know, I was slightly disappointed when I looked across the room during the IC and saw only two people wearing team paraphernalia. There certainly are a lot more FIRSTers than I thought.
