**Autodesk EMAIL**/ Vote for Your Favorite Autodesk Design Competition Entry

<Not exactly a FIRST email blast, but an Autodesk email blast>

Dear Mark,

Who will win the Autodesk Design Competition? It's up to you to decide. Read below for details.

The professional judges have finished their difficult task of selecting the top five finalists for both the Autodesk Inventor and Visualization Design Competition that you see posted on the Autodesk FIRSTbase website , so now it is up to you to vote for your favorite!

Here is how you can vote for your favorite winner of both design competitions:

1. Only students of the FIRST Robotics Competition are allowed to vote. Mentors and main contacts are not allowed to vote.

2. You must be registered on the Autodesk FIRSTbase site in order to vote. If you have not registered yet, make sure that you first ask the adult main contact of your team to send you an invitation to join. You will need the team password to complete your registration.

3. Once you have registered, Login to the Autodesk FIRSTbase site and go to your “My Team” page. On the right-hand side, under the "My Things To Do" area you will find a link to "Vote for Your Favorite - Autodesk Design Competition.".

4. You may vote once for your favorite submission on each of the competitions. All votes are final and cannot be changed. You need not have submitted an entry to vote. You may vote for your own team.

5. Voting will end on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 4pm EST.

The finalist that receives the most peer votes on their respective competition entry will be awarded the Autodesk Inventor Award or the Autodesk Visualization Award. The winners will be announced during the closing ceremonies for the FIRST Robotics Competition Championship on Saturday, April 19, 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia. Representatives from the winning team will be acknowledged on the main stage if present. Teams need not be present to win. The winner will also be posted and highlighted on the Autodesk FIRSTbase site.

Go to the Autodesk FIRSTbase site and vote today! And remember, always use gracious professionalism when voting.
