Duel on the Delaware Webcast

I have started to design web pages that may be used to webcast DUEL VII. At this point in time a webcast is not even garenteed to happen, we are still in the proccess of determing if it is possible. The web pages can be found here: http://asp.shinraikon.com/duelvii.aspx I will be updating them as time goes on. I would appreciate any comments, suggestions you may have about the site. some pages may appear blank such as rank, match results, and teams, and the match results on the portal page. This is do to the databases that data is pulled from being empty.

I have started to populate the teams database, http://asp.shinraikon.com/duelvii/teams.aspx If anyone knows any of the missing data, or finds any errors, please let me know. As it gets closer to the event date, or all the spots are filled, I will start reordering the teams from lowest to highest team number.

31 days till Duel VII

The webcast is a go. I am plannign on running a test webcast on October 10th, some time between 10am and 4pm, to work out any bugs. The current plans involve 2 different camera angle, but a 3rd angle might be considered.

The photo album will be updated during the event, as fast as pictures can be collected & uploaded (about ten minutes to upload a 512MB memory card). I have an adapter that allows the uploading of USB, SD, Compact Flash, Memory Stick/(Pro), XD, SM, MMC, and MD. If anyone has a digital camera and wants to go around taking pictures to be uploaded, let me know.

Webcast was tested today and is ready to go in the morning. I plan onm arriving at 6:30ish to turn the webcasting equipment on. Again if any team is taking digital photos and wants them immediatly uploaded the website let me know.

Webcast is up now. If someone who knows SQL, to fix a problem with the ranking score page, how do you find the minimum value between 2 colums and group the values by team number? Thanks for the help

To those of you trying to watch the webcast we have experienced multiple power failures of the server and scoring software (breaker trips). Only about 3 matches have run so far. Please bear with us while we work through these issues. We will get the webcast back up shortly.

pictures have been uploaded to the duel photo gallery on the webcast site, also scores are now being updated. there is a problem with the ranking page related to rs, qs calculations
