LabVIEW FRC Template

Hey I downloaded LabVIEW from usfirst website.

The thing is, I can't find something related to FRC when I start up LabVIEW and try to make a new project.

Is this normal?

I saw demonstration of LabVIEW programming at workshop and I recall there being something about FRC under the New Project thing, but I can't find it on the LabVIEW I downloaded.

The version of Labview that you got from the FIRST website is not FRC specific. The FRC version that you saw demonstrated will be included in the Kit of Parts.

There are plenty of tutorials that you can work through to learn LabVIEW without the FRC specific version.

Re: LabVIEW FRC Template

Yup, Joe is right. The FRC edition of Labview will be released with your controller, so if you have early delivery scheduled for your controller then you will get it pretty soon. If you dont have early delivery set up for the cRio then i dont know wheter you will get it in January or early december. With Labview 5.1 you really dont get much FRC capabilities unless you are already a wiz at labview. It is mostly given out so you can get a feel for the program, and explore its panels etc.
