What should go under the field?
What type of material should be used under the "rigolith" floor?

Re: What should go under the field?
The standard carpet will be at the competitions. The regolith won't go all the way up to the wall, and the robot will be driving on carpet if it goes to the edge. FRP on top of carpet for practice would be a good idea to see the traction difference.

Re: What should go under the field?
This isn't really related to what should go under the field but i didn't think another topic should be made.
What are teams using to "hold" the 4'x8' to each other and the floor so they don't move apart or slide around? |

Re: What should go under the field?
The seams of the field at the NH kickoff were joined with clear duct tape.
