Devantech SRF08 Range Finder programming in LabView

Has anyone tried to implement the Devantech SRF08 Range Finder in Labview using the example provided for FRC. If so, what has been your experiences. Is the sensor reliable, have you been successful integrating control of the sensor in your FRC code?

Re: Devantech SRF08 Range Finder programming in LabView

We have one but have not been able to get it or any other I2C sensors to return any data. Has anyone else had better luck using the I2C interface on the digital sidecars?

Re: Devantech SRF08 Range Finder programming in LabView

I haven't tried the SRF08 yet. but I've used the I2C with the Hi Technic compass and the accelerometer without any trouble.
