Help on Labview beginners

I've seen 3 videos on how to use some labview, but is there anywhere else where you can find some video tutorials on how to use LabView.

Setting relays and such with joysticks and buttons is even a problem to an 18 year old that's used to using Easy C

Any help is appreciated.

Try this website.

http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-2511

Its from the National Instruments website. Just follow along and you should get it. It has helped me to understand labview. I was used to programing on MPLab and have never seen labview before this season.

Re: Help on Labview beginners

I didn't want to start a new thread just to ask a question, so I will recycle this one since it's generic title:

Is there anything close to a timer, that I can reset and read, etc?
I'd like to make a case loop which runs continuously for 1 second when a boolean control is pressed, but I don't seem to find any suitable timing funcion. Wait doesn't apply, and I don't understand very well the rest of them.

If anyone could give me a hint, I'd appreciate.

Re: Help on Labview beginners

If you read the Tick Count when the button is pressed, then each iteration, you can decide to continue until current minus button is greater than 1000 ms.
