Wireles Router Problems

Has anyone had any problems with the new wireless routers. We cant get the control voard to connect to the robot without issues. It keeps telling us the port has been timed out when we try to connect to it wirelessly, but it works fine when we plug it in.

Re: Wireles Router Problems

Lots of people have had problems with the new wireless routers.

Essentially all of the problems go away when the instructions for configuring them are followed carefully. In particular, disable security for now. And pay close attention to the necessary IP addresses for everything: the big router, the small gaming adapter, and the computer you're using to do the configuration.

Oh, and one team discovered that the handy little pushbutton on the wireless gaming adapter can completely break things, so try to avoid touching it.
