Re: BELTS?!?!?!?!?
Not in the KOP. However, Gates made belts that are in the KOP. Contact them and maybe they can work on it.

Re: BELTS?!?!?!?!?
What kind of belt is it? Are we talking a timing belt (teeth on the inside) or are we talking something like polychord (round, no teeth)?
If you can give us some specifics for this "thin belting", I'm sure someone could help you. |

Re: BELTS?!?!?!?!?
not sure exactly what you mean, but there is another long thread on the use of polycord belt (round tubing). you can buy it in pre-set lengths, of you can buy a section and make your own. it is pretty easy to work with and not very expensive.
do a search for 'polycord' in the thread search tool and the posts include several locations for different options. it comes in very thin (1/8" diameter) and larger sizes. if you are thinking of belts like the gates belt in the KOP, there are connectors you can buy to make a specific size belt. I dont think they will work under a heavy load, but there are also several sizes available to purchase. |
