Our camera will not track. By this I mean it will lock on to the colours but it will not follow when we move them. We are using the 3 colour track demo.

Re: Camera not tracking
By 3 colour track demo I mean 2 colour track demo. Colour is not a typo.

Re: Camera not tracking
Are you getting servo positions outputs?

Re: Camera not tracking
One debugging technique is to grab the servo and see if you can manually move it. It a servo doesn't hold resist and hold its position, then it is not receiving a signal or power. If it is stiff, then it is a SW problem.
If it is limber, look to make sure you have jumpers next to the PWM connector. This jumper sets the voltage of the PWM being produced. Also check that your SW channels and your electrical connectors are in agreement. Also, make sure you are using the correct module number. Finally, see if your DIO sidecar has a solid or blinking LED next to the power plug. If blinking, that means that the FPGA watchdog has disabled outputs. If blinking, make sure the DS is enabled, and make sure that the SW is feeding the watchdog in a reasonable way. If none of this is your problem, post more observations and symptoms. Greg McKaskle |
