Alright, so we got some infrared sensors to help detect things in our LabView code. Problem is... I don't see anyone using these sensors except us
+ we don't know how to gather data from such devices in LabView. The model is the Sharp GP2D120 IR Range Sensor. Please help, as we don't have much time to experiment! |

Is is an analog sensor? If so, use the Analog Channel vi's. You'll get a voltage value instead of a distance, so you will have to scale it to your needs.

Page 4 has the wiring: Vo is the signal, VCC is the 5V input. Pages 9 & 10 have the graph you need to interpret the resulting signal. Let us know how it works! |
