With the 2009 regionals on the horizon, what would you like FIRST do at the regionals and Championships? I'll start things off with

FIRST, please don't make us beg for broken rocks/cells to be replaced.

FIRST, please, when scoring, clearly indicate when a supercell is in a trailer.

FIRST, please let teams know, well in advance, if the pits at a regional will be smaller than 10' x 10'.

Please insure that there is a procedure in place in order to prevent another fiasco like SVR last year. And please-kill G14 as quickly as possible!

but what was the fiasco at SVR last year?

FIRST, please coordinate and execute a consistent competitive experience (inspection and gameplay) across all regionals and the Championship.

FIRST, please have enough control system technical support in place at all events such that veteran teams are not thrown to the wolves attempting to provide all tech support in its absence.

FIRST,

Please Keep the rulings consistent. If it was legal in one regional, then it should be legal at them all.

Please Remember, there are no re-dos for mis-scored matches, we should not have to play again when you can just as easily re-score the match.

Please Inform the audience why when in the Elims an entire alliance gets yellow carded for the actions of one.

NI is planning on having reps available at regionals, I am waiting to hear the exact regionals and if Michigan district events will be covered. Barring that, the best bet is to ask on the NI community (http://decibel.ni.com/content/community/first). Questions are answered within 48 hours by actual engineers or developers.

FIRST please allow us our freedom to design robots how we choose.

FIRST please do not try to "level the playing field" and allow us to play at our potential. (Personal opinion, not saying they are or aren't now)

There was a finals rematch for no apparent reason. Though noone thought bad of it but it made the winning team have to play again and win another game or face another rematch.

And FIRST,

Have the scoring system perfected before the regionals, we don't want to hear about the results of a game while watching another.
