Security of WPA key on WGA600N
I have some questions with regard to the security
of the encryption key on the WGA600N. This is not a question about the best encryption to use, this is with regard to whether the adapter can be set up so that the key can not be gotten from the hardwire network connection once set. 1) Is the WPA key shown in the web based configuration panel after it has been set? 2) If one sets up a password to protect the web based configuration panel, and one resets it to the factory default, does the WPA key get wiped as part of the reset? I want to know if the WGA600N can be configured with a WPA key in a manner that keeps someone from easily obtaining the key if they can hook their computer to the ethernet port on the WGA600N. Thanks, Eugene |
