2009 Cass Tech District Webcast
Team 2771 Code Red Robotics, will be sending their webcast crew to Cass Tech District to stream the competition!
We have all the bugs worked out from our first webcast (Kettering) and should be able to provide a smooth video and audio quality optimized for 3-6mbps internet connections! The Webcast will be Hosted at www.coderedrobotics.com With a chat available for all to communicate with each other while watching the webcast. Also on a side note, Code Red Robotics will be attempting to webcast all the Michigan District Competitions. If you have any questions please let me know Corey |

Re: 2009 Cass Tech District Webcast
We are very sure we are rookies
![]() We started as a small group of people (some participated in FIRST before) who knew and understood the goals and purpose of FIRST Starting out with nothing more then a lot of dedication and a prayer. You can view how we came to be by going to http://www.coderedrobotics.com/ and clicking on "Our Team" then "History" We are all very thankful to be where we are right now. All other questions welcome! ***Correction for Up Above*** The webcast is designed for 500kbps-1500kbps So you can watch it on mobile broadband cards. I am considering doing a high quality feed along with a lower quality feed, but we will see how things go ************************ Thanks, Corey Last edited by Corey Oostveen : 11-03-2009 at 19:26. |

Re: 2009 Cass Tech District Webcast
Core, you guys are great. Everyone I talked to at Kettering was blown away by the energy level and competitive nature of this rookie team. I know you told me the cliff's notes of your story, but reading on the website was really interesting. I encourage anyone who saw these guys at Kettering (or Traverse) to go check that out. I thank you also for the webcast, I was hoping the MI district events wouldn't be left behind

Re: 2009 Cass Tech District Webcast
Grant,
Thanks for the Kind words I will let the kids know! Also a big thank you for talking to Luke (our driver), He came up too me stoked saying 'I just got a pep talk from a US championship robot driver' I kindly corrected him saying, "Championship of the World Luke, not just the US". It was greatly appreciated and he enjoyed it! Just thought I would pass it your way! The Web Cast is not a problem, anything Code Red Robotics can do to help out ![]() Here is a direct link to the birth of Code Red Robotics http://www.coderedrobotics.com/index...50&It emid=58 Last edited by Corey Oostveen : 11-03-2009 at 15:49.
