#1860 proudly thanks some teams:

Well, how every you can see, is not easy to compete far far away from home.
We had many problems during the season and I think that it should be showed.

- Brazilians teams have just 4 weeks to build their robot. The KoP delay one week to come to school and the Brazilian Federal Policy needs two weeks approximatelly to export the robot. All this and the fact that in February has Carnival here, and almost everything stops, including the Federal Policy.

- During the robot project, we haven't important items like the material used in the field (Regolith) and the Balls. So we need to find similar materials and use the only ball that came in KoP to project and test our robot.

- To carry our students, we need to find MANY money, because the price approximate for one student travel is $2000,00, and sometimes, we have problems with de USA embassy to liberate the visas.

- Some tools, we can't carry from Brasil to USA, so when we arrive, we need to go in some Wal Mart or Home Depto and buy them. When we back to the home, we need to let the tools. The same thing for the batteries, we can't export the batteries, so we need to buy in MK's website and let in USA (this year we gifted some teams with batteries)

- At the final of competition, we need to bring the robot in our baggage, and the box of the robot that costed approximatelly U$800,00, we need to let in USA. We make this because we need to use the robots in the off-season, and if we make the import procedures, the robot come in October in school.

- The english language is difficult, but can not be a barrier!

Given the many difficulties, some little actions can be unforgetable to us, and I'd like to describe some here:

- The cheer of #399... was unforgetable hear you guys screaming "Eighteen Sixty! Eighteen Sixty"

- The help of #599 to solve some troubles of the inspection.

- The help of #330, trough Chris Husmann, by receive the batteries and cabes for us.

- The friendship of #1644 and the called to play the finals.

- The memories of #33, that remembered of us in your deserved Chairmans Award in Kettering.

- The atention of #981, that gave Lexan for us...

... and many other teams that help us in this season!

I am sorry about the size of the thread, but I personally was needing to say these things.

On behalf #1860 - Cephatron: thank you. You are awesome and unforgetable!
