Modifying KoP Items in Inventor

I'm sure there's a simple way to do this, but we can't figure it out. The "Kit of Parts" parts don't seem to be edit-able. So how do we, for example, cut a piece of C-Channel for our frame?

Hi,

I created most of the KOP and in some cases provided part files that can be edited and some that cannot. For example, most of the motors and sensors cannot be edited because they will not change.

The C-channel you refer to can be edited. Follow these steps:

1. Open Chassis_Channel_26_AndyMark_am-0202.ipt.
2. In the browser, right-click Base 13. Click Edit Solid.
3. Use the Move Face or Extend/Contract Body to change the part.
