WindRiver license expiring in 1 day
I installed this years Windriver and then the update over last years. I get a message that the license is expiring. Is there a way to add the new license to it without installing?
Thanks, Brian |

Re: WindRiver license expiring in 1 day
I'm having a simliar issue with our copy of Wind River, only it says it will expire in 15 days. This is after applying all updates available from WPI/NI.
in C:\WindRiver\license there are three files, firstwrsLicense.lic (updated in 2008) and zwrsLicense1.lic/zwrsLicense.lic, both of which seem to have been updated or installed with the latest updates. Any ideas? |

Re: WindRiver license expiring in 1 day
I ran the WindRiver installer again from the DVD and selected "Activate a new license" (or something to that effect). I then selected "Permananet activation" and browsed to "<cd drive>\Distributions\Wind River\FirstRobotics_2010_install.txt"
Now I need to apply the update again. Brian Last edited by SuperBK : 16-01-2010 at 12:02. |

Re: WindRiver license expiring in 1 day
Yep, this is how we solved it as well. The trick? Read the directions!
