Exclamation C-RIO there then not there

Ok I have looked extensively over the past few days and have not found anything related so i was hoping someone could help here is our problem
I am in programing and electrical and was getting ready to run the robot after following the "benchtop" test and i started up the computer and as always the d.s. account came up.
On the status lights the stop button and the communication are green but the Robot code is not (as expected since i have not built a code on yet). I switched
the account over to developer and made a code then proceeded to build it and Run as startup (i'm using labview by the way) but at the end of the Run as startup it stops to tell me that the C-RIO is not connected so i went back to the ds account and it still says that the C-RIO is still connected

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to check for this problem?
P.S. i have run the controls before it was on a robot and it worked fine.

Re: C-RIO there then not there

Did you set the team number (IP address) when you created the project?

Re: C-RIO there then not there

I'd recommend Exiting out of the Driver account, so it stops it's continuous communication with the cRIO, before using "Run as startup" over in the Developer account.

Re: C-RIO there then not there

In the Driver Station on the Setup tab you'll see an EXIT button on the bottom right.

Question Re: C-RIO there then not there

Ok now we have two problems that are alternating
1.the C-RIO says its in use by a host computer or project but only one project is up and the driver is logged off!
2.there is no comms with the c-rio when i try to run as startup

Please give more details on this problem. When and where is the cRIO saying this, and what exactly is the wording? What does "one project is up" mean?

Re: C-RIO there then not there

Ok first the losing comms issue turned out to be a low batt that had enough to communicate until i built and the second issue was just after the Run as startup was hit a message would come up that said "the c-rio is in use by a host computer or project"

I'm not familiar with that message. I think you might have miscopied it, because I've never known LabVIEW to spell cRIO that way.

Please let us know exactly what the message says. It's possible that it isn't an error at all, and just a standard warning letting you know that what you're about to do will stop whatever program is currently running.
