Re: camera????

You need to have a look at this pdf: http://usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Com...t_Assembly.pdf
Unfortunately there are no step by step instructions so you'll just need to go from what you see on the 2nd page. Make sure you examine the diagram carefully. (not all the parts are listed)

Thanks,
timytamy

PS:The two "gyro" are actually called servos

EDIT: Vivesrock beat me, but the links are the same

Re: camera????

We are having another camera issue someone may be able to help with. We need a password to get access to the camera. When the files start to load it hangs due to comm error then the camera goes to the logon window and asks for username and password. Please help

Re: camera????

Is your camera attached to your PC?
I assume so, since the camera doesn't send pop-ups through the cRIO.
Tell us how you have it connected.

Is the back of the camera mounted up against anything?
Try resetting the camera to factory default using the black switch on the back.
Reset the camera by pulling the power, then holding the reset button while plugging the power back in and continuing to hold until you got the orange light around the lens

Re: camera????

The default user name should be "root: and password should be "pass" (without the quotes) If that doesn't work try reseting it with the small black button on the back and try connecting to it again (default ip should be 192.168.0.90)

If that still doesn't work can we have more details please.

Thanks,
timytamy

Re: camera????

What code are you using to run the camera...We can't seem to get ours to stream video to the driver station. We tried the cameratoDashboard example But that had a ton of compile errors..once we cleaned those up we could download but not get any video...We tried both the axiscamera.h file and the the axiscamera2010.h files in our program but no luck. We noticed that the code for the trackingdemo compiled without any problem but the code so different from the cameratodashboard example we are having a hard time translating...Can anyone steer us in the right direction?? I am sure it is something obvous that we just aren't seeing.

Initially we had problems getting the 2010CameraDemo in C++ to run, it turned out that the problem was with the driver station. We found that the installer for the required update needs to be run, uninstalled then reinstalled. You will know that the station is updated properly if the Gyro Compass shows up on the display.

Good Luck.
