Go to Post I swear, sometimes it seems like FIRST has got a room full of monkeys writing code. Maybe the monkeys should spend less time flinging fecal matter at each other and more time testing the code before posting it :-). - Kevin Watson [more]

Ribbon Cable between Digital Module and Sidecar?

Hey guys,

The thick, stiff, beige cable that came in the KOP is fine and dandy, but my team was hoping to upgrade to something lower-profile. I was in the middle of searching for the appropriate ribbon cable replacement when I heard a story about a team that ordered a ribbon cable replacement that somehow had all the pins electrically reversed from the positions they should be. In short: their ribbon cable didn't work because it had the wrong construction/was the wrong type.

So I ask: who has a link to a specific, known-to-work ribbon cable replacement?

Thanks!
-Matt

Any cheaper options? $28 seems like a bit too much for a cable...
