Problems flashing cRio?

Hi, everybody, my team is having a problem flashing the cRio from the classmate running LabView. Can anyone guide us through the process? We're used to using WindRiver. Thanks!

Re: Problems flashing cRio?

The process is basically the same, but check the other radio button.

Common issues when imaging stem from leaving the wifi radio or another network interface on, or leaving the firewall on. Since the cRIO IP address will change several times during the imaging, the networking code gets confused as to which NIC to send the traffic to.

Re: Problems flashing cRio?

Thank you for your help. I managed to image the cRio fine, but now I'm having other problems with LabView. I'm trying to switch the drive system from Arcade to Tank drive, but despite changing the modules and the axes within the drive "while" loop, it won't let me change it. Any suggestions from anyone? Thanks!
Caleigh

Re: Problems flashing cRio?

Could you check the version of LabVIEW you are running?
There shouldn't be a drive While loop....

Look under:
Help -> About FIRST Robotics Competition Software...
You should be running "Software Update 2.0"

If your code is not showing up on the cRIO, how are you doing the download?
There are several ways to download and there can be pitfalls if you don't understand the difference between Run, Deploy and Run as startup.
