Go to Post Do not treat Vex and FLL as inferior because they may not get as much exposure as FRC on these boards. Just remember, FLL has seven times more teams than FRC from twenty additional countries. - artdutra04 [more]

Number of hubs allowed?

Does anyone know how many USB hubs you're allowed to use?
And for that matter, if it's allowed for one hub to have 4 ports?

Re: Number of hubs allowed?

Is there a rule against it? Did you look for a rule against it? If the answer is "No" and "Yes", then you're OK.

I would assume the answer would be that you can have another hub because the maximum number of devices is 6 (4 joysticks, Stop button, Cypress board) and the existing hub only has 4 ports, max of 5 items (the classmate has 2 usb ports), plus it would be possible for the Dashboard to require USB (probably to connect to another computer.
