Windows "Malfunctioning USB Device" error with Psoc IO Board

Hello,
Recently I have been having trouble with the Psoc IO board. I know this sound like a driver issue but I don't think it is. The board was working up until a day ago, and now when it is plugged in, windows gives an error about a malfunctioning USB Device on both our programming computer an the classmate. Do you think we will have to get a replacement? If so, where would we go to get one?

You could try re-applying the IO board update from the DS update (uninstall then re-install). Also, make sure there isn't anything shorting the io board (unplug it from the breadboard, check for metal shavings, etc.)

If you need a replacement, most likely you will have very little time to test it, if any. Our team ordered a new one since we lost the kit one and it took at least a week and a half to get here. In the meantime the DS can simulate the digital and analog inputs of the io board through the IO tab.

The product page for the IO board is here

Re: Windows "Malfunctioning USB Device" error with Psoc IO Board

Thank you for the suggestion, but when I run the update again to uninstall it, it doesn't give me the option to. I tried manually removing all the cypress drivers, but it still gave me the errors. What do I need to do to uninstall the update?

I do believe the software is the trouble, though, because when I plug it into a computer without competition software, it doesn't give the error.
