a couple problems came up from this: 1. our wheels caused some of the brackets to bend 2. those bending brackets caused loosening chains |

Re: quation about 10" mecanum wheels
I *think* what you're asking is if any team is using the 10" Mecanum wheels offered by AndyMark on their 2010 FRC robot. And if so, how to mount them with the 2010 KoP Chassis, and powering them with the Toughboxes.
(I realize you're from Israel and English is almost certainly not your first language. Perhaps try a different translation program next time?) To answer what I think the question is: I doubt that many, if any, teams are using the 10" mecanums from AndyMark as they are 2 things that are rather problematic to FRC teams. They are expensive ($710/set), and they are heavy (steel: 14lbs/wheel! alum: 7lbs/wheel). I don't know of many robots that can afford 56lbs (or even 28lbs) in wheels alone. They're also way bigger than an FRC robot needs. |
