We have been to several regionals and have a question regarding the battery charger...
Does anyone know how to modify the battery charger to permenately attach the quick connect adapters? AND Is the modified battery charger then considered a COTS item? Thanks! |

Re: Quick connect adapters to battery charger
What we do is cut off the alligator clips that are on the battery charger and solder the wire to one of the connectors that are in the kit or you can buy one from AndyMark. This change, or similar, is suggested within section 8.
The battery charger is not put on the robot, therefore you do not need to worry about it being a cots/fabricated item. |
