Encoder Problems
For whatever reason, our encoder seems to only be reading full rotations.
We have programmed our robot to display both the encoder.get() and encoder.getRaw() along with many other combinations for the past few hours and the encoder only displays full rotations. Instead of displaying 1, 2, 3, ... 1000 for a rotation, it simply displays 1 (1 rotation), 2 (2 rotations), 3, or 1.0, 2.0, 3.0. We even tried using our old code that we developed weeks ago (and worked then) to no avail. We think it might have something to do with the recent updates, but we can't be sure. If anyone can provide some insight it would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Encoder Problems
Have you tried getDistance()?

Re: Encoder Problems
How do you have the encoder wired? Are you maybe reading the index of the encoder?
