Interrupt for DIO?
Hi,
We're using a DigitalInput wired to a limit switch to stop a motor from turning. (It needs to be overridden with a button, so we can't use the Jaguar's built-in limit switch port) We are not able to check the value of the limit fast enough to stop the motor immediately. Is there any way to implement an interrupt on any pin of the sidecar? I've searched all over the forums and can't find anything. Let me know if you are aware of any way to set up an interrupt on a DigitalInput. Thanks. |

Re: Interrupt for DIO?
How fast do you need it to stop? If you absolutely need it to be less than a couple dozen milliseconds, your best bet is to wire it directly to a CAN enabled Jaguar. Honestly though, I'd bet that you could get away with just checking every 5 milliseconds in a loop with a delay in it.
