Team !583's 2010 Robot Roger

Here's 1583's 2010 robot Roger. He has a holonomic drive, ball dribbler, and variable range kicker. Roger is built largely from 1/2 inch baltic birch plywood. Our driver's practice driving Roger by flying a small radio controlled helicopter. Roger has exactly the same controls with the exception of elevation. Unlike the helicopter, moving the left stick back and forth changes the dribbler speed and the elevation angle of the kick. Btw the RAM light on top of the robot tells the driver when they have a ball ready to kick. If you're coming to the Colorado Regional we'll see you there.
