Good luck at GKC.

You wouldn't happen to know if there is going to be a webcast of it would you? I would like to watch.

Warm weather? It's Oklahoma. It can be 43 in the morning and 90 by night fall.

Re: Oklahoma City Regional - 2010

Let's move this up! Team 1742 is pumped up to see everyone at the Oklahoma Regional. We especially want to welcome the great out of state teams who are coming down to have fun with us. We are getting ready to go up this afternoon to help set up the field, and looking forward to seeing those early birds dropping off their bots. Can't wait to see old friends, and make new ones in OKC. Be sure to come by our pit if you need anything, or just to visit. Best of Luck to everyone in OKC.

Re: Oklahoma City Regional - 2010

Yes i was refering to kc, because i was asked about it. 2410 is in school vans and should be arriving in okc in under an hour. Good drive from kc, but it should be well worth it. Were all excited! Good luck teams!

Anyone else staying in the clarion inn?

Re: Oklahoma City Regional - 2010

Now that our team is back in Kansas, we have some recognitions to make.
First of all, this was a great event. It really challenged our scouters with many robots with very similar numbers. The larger pits were greatly appreciated! The weather was wonderful and our team had a great time!
A few teams I would like to especially congradulate:
The runner up alliance-
1939: after a dissapointing finish in Kc, they took the #2 seed and earned the finalist award! Awesome robot located not far from us.
1742: very impressive scoring robot. We played a qualification match with them and scored very high due to there success from midfield.
1209: Great 3rd alliance pick! Our first match of the day on Saturday was against them and they held us to our lowest score with a fully-functioning robot all event (4).
Our alliance-
935: Outstanding robot that could play in any zone of the field. We were glad to have another meccanum drive robot on our alliance as well. There driver was also on of the easiest to work with kids I have ever met, very friendly and he thinks hard.
1987: Congrats on Chairmans! We were very impressed with your team and will very likely be seeking help from a team as solid as yours that is so close to our home. As per their robot: An absolute steal! They could clear from the third zone in auto and score! They had tank treads that were slightly problematic, but extremely beneficial on the field. There team helped us greatly during a slight malfunction in the quarters and at the beggining of the finals.

Great event, definately one to remeber for team 2410.
