Custom TCP Protocols

It is hinted at that any kind of TCP communication is allowed (with the cRIO). However, I wanted to see if other teams have their own custom TCP communication open with the cRIO during the actual competition as I have some programs that communicate on their own TCP connection with the cRIO such as autonomous mode. |

I'd run it past the gauntlet of the GDC... their answer seems vague. It's not clear if they're saying TCP video protocols are allowed or any TCP protocol.
