RoboFAQs.com is a new outreach site for robotics and FIRST topics, created by Team 2108 in response to "Dean's Homework" this year. We'd like to invite everyone in FIRST to get involved and work together to build a "question and answer" community that will attract more newcomers into robotics, FIRST and the STEM topics, in general.
RoboFAQs.com is different from a forum site like ChiefDelphi because it is specifically focused on questions and answers. Instead of discussion, it aims more directly at getting answers. It's a place someone might find if they Google "can robots think" - and we hope they'll see other interesting questions and maybe find out more about FIRST.
One of the kids on our team said it best, "Each team builds its own robot, but we can all build
RoboFAQs.com together!" I think she was right, and with the huge number of smart, friendly people in FIRST, there's no doubt we can help the general public with a community site that answers all kinds of questions about robotics and FIRST.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and we hope you'll make
RoboFAQs.com a stop on your regular rounds. There are a lot of people with questions, and your knowledge and insight can really help.
