Hello my group is looking for ways to innovate are Workstation for future competitions and we are looking for feedback from other First teams.



Just a few Questions:

1. Is there any problem with the space constraints in the PIT area of FRC competitions?

2. Which would be a better way to power the opening of the table?
a) Pneumatics
b) Hydraulics
c) Gear and Pulley Assembly
d) Other

3. Should this Work station be,
a) Human moved
b) Motorized

4. Should there be any type of charging station liked in with this table? If so, what kind of charging station?


5. How much should this work station approximately weigh for a 4 person work crew?

6. Should there be a way to organize tolling and other important or commonly used items?


7. For banners and other types of flags, should there be a place included with the table to hang them?




8. Are there any other suggestions for our work station that you would like to see implemented?

My first suggestion would be for you to have someone look over your note and change the wording to something less ambiguous. Check the spelling at the same time. Seriously, I have a hard time understanding half of what you're asking because I'm not sure what you are saying.

Are you asking about constraints for fitting all the teams' pits in the space available, or constraints for each individual team's pit? What table are you opening? What does "workstation" mean to you? I assume "tolling" doesn't refer to charging people for walking through your pit area, but I can't figure out what it's supposed to be.
