[OCCRA]: VEX High Strength Sprocket and Chain Kit

On the Vex Robotics website there is a new sprocket and chain kit that is a lot stronger than the chains and gears that we are originally given in the VEX kits. I was wondering if we would be allowed to purchase these for our VEX bot; they are only $40 and made of plastic so i think they should be legal but i want to just clarify. Here is a link:

Answer: According to VGR13: "All building materials in the VEX kit and all materials not on the restricted materials list may be used to build the VEX robot with the following conditions:
1. "No more than 7 Vex motors may be used on a robot (there is no limit on the number of servos.)"
You may ONLY use 1 of the new powerful motors this year (we gave you one). This is included in the total of 7 motors.
2. "Only VEX wheels may be used on the VEX robot (Big, medium, small, omni, tank tread)." provided each is less than $75.
3."VEX plastic gears, sprockets and chains are the only ones that may be used." ( the new chain is plastic and made by VEX therefore it can be used as long as it meets the cost limitation).
4. Teams may use the new metal pinion gears sold by VEX.
