CAD Models?

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering where I could download parts from the KOP.

More specifically, I was wondering about the Gates belt sprockets.

Thanks,
Sunny

Re: CAD Models?

Autodesk hasn't put up the 2011 KOP yet, but they have the 2010 one up on http://students.autodesk.com/?nd=kitofparts_view still.

Otherwise check out 1323's CAD library http://team1323.com/cad/pages/sprockets.html though I am not sure any of these are the correct type.

3dcontentcentral is another good place to look for models but unfortunately gates isn't a supplier of CAD models to them.

Re: CAD Models?

PTC right now has the PRO/E KOP up http://www.catalogds.com/db/service?d=first&c=browse for something simple like a belt sprocket you may be able to import it into any CAD program without much issue.

Re: CAD Models?

Also https://sdp-si.com/eStore/ has cad models for many configurations of components such as sprockets, gears, etc...
Look under the heading of 'Pulleys' in the left column for toothed pulleys.

I'm familiar with sdp-si, but I couldn't find very many details about the sprockets in the kit, even at the gates website with the product numbers...

EDIT: It seems I found them in the FIRST database.

Thanks,
- Sunny

All, the Autodesk KOP is up and running and the 3 sprockets are there. The sprockets are from B&B Manufacturing, that is why you cannot find the part number reference on Gates. Fooled me for while as well!!
