Minibot Size Restriction

The rules say that the minibot needs to fit in a 12x12x12 box. But it is unclear whether it needs to stay in that box for the whole match or whether it can break the box after deployment, i.e. with an extending arm to hit the button. Anyone know of a clarification?

There is no limitation on rule <R91> with regards to a specific time or phase of the game where it applies. Unless the GDC says otherwise I would interpret that to mean that Minibots must be in compliance with that rule during the entire match.

<R91> The MINIBOT may not exceed a 12” x 12” x 12” volume and weigh no more than 15 lbs.
