Exclamation Manual Arena Section Specifications and Constructions Drawings

Hi,

We where looking at Section 2 on the manual - THE ARENA, specifically on Page 5, concerning 2.2.3 The SCORING GRID dimensions. We are really confused on the distances between one SCORING PEG and another. I was wondering if there is a drawing of specifications and construction of the SCORING GRID. If there is, can it be found in either of the links stated on Page 2 of the ARENA manual, in paragraph 3.

Also, we were reading sections 1 and 2, where they talk about the distances of the field areas. In section 2, it says that the feeding slot walls are 4'6" ft, and that the lane zone is 4'3", so my question is, how come the width of the scoring zone and the alliance stations are both 18' and the feeding slot walls and lane zones have different width.

Alliance station dimensions:
4'6" + 18' + 4'6" = 27'

Game field (Lane zones and scoring zone)
4'3" + 18' + 4'3" = 26'6"

Which width should I go with? the 4'3" to make sure the robot won't have any problems concerning walls?

Specifications and construction details of the ARENA

If so, both links are broken. I receive an error message for both links that states that the Page Cannot be Found and further down on the same web page it gives a second error that says HTTP 404 - File not found

Yes, there are drawings. They are located at http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprogr....aspx?id=18763

Under normal circumstances, you go with whatever the drawings say. The drawings are the final authority in terms of what the dimensions are supposed to be.
