FRC 2011 Field dimensions

ok. so we are trying to figure out the dimensions of the field. We have found out everything but just a few things.
has anyone been able to figure out the distance between the lanes and the first scoring peg on the poles??
we also are trying to find the distance between the two scoring pegs that are closest to the center of the field. Has anyone been able to find these??

Re: FRC 2011 Field dimensions

The middle peg column of each Scoring Grid should line up Vertically with the center of the two outer Grey tracking lines (Autonomous Lines). When they are lined up, the spacing you requested is met.

Re: FRC 2011 Field dimensions

Ok, well the two inner scoring pegs are about 5.1 ft apart. (61.8" after looking again.

Can you be more specific about the other measurement?

Re: FRC 2011 Field dimensions

All of the Dimensions you are looking for are on the Field Drawings - but they're not spelled out so you need to interpret them and do a little math.

Anyway:

The distance between either of the feeder lanes and the Outermost pole on either side is approximately 18" according to my math.

The distance between the two center poles is approximately 60" according to my math.

I suggest you double check my numbers doing a little math of your own.

thank you this is what we were looking for. we were trying to find the angle of the split in the line tracking, but with that measurement we got it.
