WINDRIVER PROBLEM
Hi, I am using windriver to program our robot, the problem is that when I start a new project with the simple robot template or any other template I cannot seem to find the ".out" file which should be found in C:\Windriver\workspace\SimpleTemplate, in this folder there should be another folder named PPC603gnu which contains the ".out" file. Is there any way I can make this file or find it?
-thanks in advance! ![]() |

Re: WINDRIVER PROBLEM
I don't have WindRiver in front of me, but I remember the project propoerties dialog, in one of the tabs, there is a page showing check boxes of different platforms: ppc32diab, ppc32gnu, ppc603diab and ppc603gnu etc. I just unchecked everything except for ppc603gnu. For some reason, if I don't uncheck those, it will compile to ppc32diab. Does anybody know what are all these other platforms?

Re: WINDRIVER PROBLEM
Have you made sure you are building the project first? Right click it in the project explorer window and select "Build Project." If that doesn't work, try just closing Windriver and reopening it. We ran into the same problem where it wouldn't seem to build, and restarting Windriver fixed it.
*Edit: mikets is right, but if you're using an example project, that should have been done automatically. To check that, right click the project again, go to "Properties", and then "Build Properties" |
