Re: Testing Joystick

You can run the code from the robot main vi and then probe the teleop vi while its running. But that deploys your code. There is example code to get joystick values but it wont have the names you need.

Re: Testing Joystick

It's possible to write a LabVIEW program that runs on the PC and reads the joystick. But if all you want to do is make sure a joystick is doing what you want, use the Windows Game Controllers control panel.

Goto start;

control panel;
printers and other hardware;
game controllers;
Add game controller;
finally, when you are dun, it will allow you to do testing/calibration like thing and you can test controllers that way.
