Dashboard Programing

At the moment i am using one of my fellow team members account to post this because my account has problems letting me activate my account. My true problem lies in C++. i was wondering how we would code sensors to show up on our dashboard. i haven't found any posts that give me an answer. and we cant figure it out.

Re: Dashboard Programing

Your best bet would be to look into ZomB or SmartDashboard (both are on firstforge)

Re: Dashboard Programing

SmartDashboard is actually already integrated into WPIlib by default, so if you just download the client (or my teammate's launcher), you can get started using it with minimal changes to your code.

Re: Dashboard Programing

While investigating other Dashboard options is a great learning experience, you probably just went "but I just want to use the regular dashboard, shouldn't there be a function to send the proper data?"

If you look at the Dashboard Data Sender example project, it has everything you need. The LabVIEW Dashboard accepts a cluster of data which you can create quite easily (again, see Dashboard Data Sender example).
