AM sprocket out of stock

http://www.andymark.com/ProductDetai...ctCode=am-0057

How long does it usually take for AM products to get back in stock? We need one!

Re: AM sprocket out of stock

That is a question best left to andymark. If you can afford the weight, you can get a steel one from McMaster PDQ

Re: AM sprocket out of stock

Vex Pro also has a sprocket of this size:

They have larger sizes as well.

Re: AM sprocket out of stock

Reason we wanted the AM one is because it has the hubs, with the bearings and all to go with it

Does vex have this?

Re: AM sprocket out of stock

These were out of stock about a week ago and then came back in stock for a short period of time. From the time that I checked and saw that they were out of stock to the time that they came back in stock was only 2 or 3 days, but I don't know how long they were out of stock before I looked. Seeing as the Vex-pro ones are in stock, those would probably be the best choice.

Re: AM sprocket out of stock

Both the Vex Pro and AndyMark sprockets use the same 6-bolt mounting pattern (which, by the way, has been very common in FIRST for many, many years).

The Vex Pro sprocket has a bore of 1.125"
The AM one linked has a bore of .875"
AM also has one with a bore of 1.125"
Any of AndyMark's bearings with an OD of 1.125" will work with the Vex Pro sprocket.

So the diameter of how the holes in the hub are layed out is the same as the holes in the sprocket? Awesome! thanks guys

Those dimensions are all correct, but only deal with the bore (the big hole in the middle of the sprocket.)

What you want to match up is the bolt circle diameter. If the 6 holes for mounting screws were placed on an invisible circle, the diameter of said circle would be the bolt circle diameter.

That 60 tooth sprocket has a bolt circle of 1.875". Now, VEXPRO doesn't list the specs of its sprocket, but I am pretty darn sure it's also 1.875". Don't take my word for it though.
