Labview for the minibot

I've search everywhere I can think, I'm really surprised nobody else has had this problem yet... But here goes.

Our team does not have a good connection with an FTC team (but we do with FLL teams).

We want to program the minibot with labview, since we are using a tetrix motor rather than a lego one and that seems to be the way to go.
We have a standard 8.6.1f3 FRC Labview installation with update 3.1 from two days ago.

I can't figure out how to program our minibot...
We got the nxt toolkit here: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/4435
We didn't get the module since it isn't compatible with our version of labview.

However this toolkit doesn't include any tetrix vi's (only lego ones) and I don't have the slightest clue how to target or build the program for the NXT.

Can anyone help us get started?

Re: Labview for the minibot

Hi,
I did not have any problems installing the NXT toolkit on the FRC LabVIEW. (Version 3.1) The tetrix palette is a little harder to find. I keep finding resources for LabVIEW 2009 and 2010. Both can be installed, and used with a 30 day evaluation, which the toolkit can then be installed and used. I will have to poke around the office tomorrow to find out more.
You may want to take a look at our videos for the NXT. (Links in signature)
