Team 1546 Full Systems Test#1

Today was our first day with the Shoulder Mechanism, Elbow Mechanism, Telescoping System, and Manipulator working together. Tomorrow all the Limit Switches will be fined too..... Almost a whole 2 weeks to PRACTICE.... SWEET!

2 weeks to practice? Don't you mean 2 weeks to build a 'better' second robot for competition? I mean, it's already designed, you just need to make the parts and assemble them. You can eliminate any remaining minor bugs at that time, ship a near-perfect robot, and still keep your 'first' robot for a few more weeks of drive practice. And programming. And tweaking. And... well, you get the picture.

The essential parts (assuming you don't have seconds of everything) such as cRio, can be carried to competition and reinstalled there. Plus a few pounds of "even better' parts for certain mechanisms.

Something to think about, eh?

Not all of us have the funds to create a second robot. Nor do we have the capability to do it within the allowed withholding allowance of creating another complete robot.
