Unbricking a dLink?

Hey,

Our team has had to order a new dlink due to some technical problems. Our new dLink is apparently "bricked." Is there any way to unbrick the dLink? Thanks!

Re: Unbricking a dLink?

To figure out how to fix something, we need to know what went wrong, or at least what the indications of the failure are. What was the last thing that happened before it stopped working? What are the indications that it isn't working.

For example, if you hooked up power backwards, there is nothing that can be (legally) done to fix it. If you accidentally activated the emergency webserver mode, then it's easy to fix, etc.

First figure out what you did really, really wrong and learn not to ever do that again...
