Hostbot Clearing the Tower

Does your hostbot/robot have to not be touching the tower, be out of the tower's base perimeter, before your minibot passes the deployment line?

If you are in the process of deploying, then <G20> reads that

ROBOTS/HOSTBOTS may not contact their own TOWERS above the DEPLOYMENT LINE.

This means that you can touch the tower, you just can't touch it above the deployment line.

Just remember to keep <G17> in mind, that you can't deploy during tele-op.

Along with <G20>:
<G22> HOSTBOTS may not contact their ALLIANCE‟S MINIBOT while any part of it is above the DEPLOYMENT LINE. Violation: TOWER is disabled

So, you can touch the tower if your minibot is above the deployment line, you just can't touch your minibot at the same time.
