The guy's shadow looks weird as he walks in front of the device. There are a few jumps in the video that might be edits, right as he starts to pour and again as the liquid is reaching the top leg. The way the waterwheel reacts seems weird, it looks like it takes off running at full speed as soon as the liquid hits. Maybe the whole device is just an animation.
