Do the bumpers have to be a specific height off from the ground?

Re: Bumper Help
no, but they do have to be within the bumper zone according to R07-B
" B. The BUMPERS must be located entirely within the BUMPER ZONE when the ROBOT is standing normally on a flat floor, and must remain there (i.e. the BUMPERS must not be articulated or designed to move outside of the BUMPER ZONE) " Good luck! |

The bumpers must be located at least 1 inch off the floor, and no higher than 7 inches. Since the bumpers are 5 inches high, this gives you about 2 inches to adjust vertically. Please read all of the bumper rules, including the Glossary. ![]() |

Re: Bumper Help
Remember that bumpers tend to sag a little bit, so you might want to make sure they start out with the bottom at least 1.5" off the floor, so it never drops too low. Also make sure the top won't be all the way up to 7" off the floor.
