[FTC]: Lottery Invitations

Hey everyone,

I am a member of team 2827 Artificial Stupidity, and our team competed at the North Carolina regional this weekend. Despite having many issues in the qualifying matches, including a general fcs failure resulting in a 0-0 tie that the refs refused to replay, we finished 5th. The 1st seed alliance captain picked us and we went on to win the tournament. As the first picked team on the winning alliance, we will be entered in the first tier of the lottery system. We got to worlds this exact same way last year, and the year before when we were the winning captain our alliance partner went as well.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any info on how the lottery system works, and what the chances are for my team to advance to worlds.

Thanks,

Ryan
