Compressor isnt running!
The wire is correct, and I'm pretty sure the programming is right.
I used the Labview Compressor example code, and it still didn't run. I searched the forums and i couldn't find anything to fix our problem Last minute problems suck Begin.vi Teleop.vi |

Re: Compressor isnt running!
I don't believe there is a need to have the compressor portion in teleop all you need is to have the close compressor in the end vi... and the pressure switch also needs to be hooked up sig to ground.

Re: Compressor isnt running!
All you need is the open compressor and start compressor. This will allow the compressors vi run all the time the robot is running enabled.

Re: Compressor isnt running!
![]() ![]() the compressor ran the first time we tried, but now it doesn't i don't see anything that changed in the wiring, so i don't know what the problem could be we're all crying in the fetal position, and you're our only hope wiring: PDB>spike>compressor spike>relay 1 pressure switch> DIO 1 Oh, and are the window motors strong? |

Window motors are surprisingly weak compared to the other motors, but they can work in a pinch, all you need to do is remove the locking pins(which is allowed in the rules)(do a search to find out how) and they should be able to do quite a bit, but they do however lock up when they overheat. |

Re: Compressor isnt running!
If your sure of the programming, wiring and if it has run once i would check the fuse in the spike next.

Re: Compressor isnt running!
We have had a lot of problems with the fuse on the spike I would check that

Re: Compressor isnt running!
Look on the actual breakout board, if both the green and red leds are not lighting up, I know your problem.
You have to open the open compressor file, open up the static vi reference and change where it says Forward to On. This fixed our compressor problem |

Re: Compressor isnt running!
I did a search and just got results from chief delphi of people saying to remove the locking pins, can you explain or link to a how-to?

Re: Compressor isnt running!
With a standard solenoid setup (at least ours) air will always be in the actuators. Its just a matter of is it pushing the actuator out or is it pulling it in. It is possible to set it up to not do that, but I don't think I've ever seen it.
