As all of you should know already, National Robotics Week is approaching fast!
April 9th-17th

Our team(1716) is planning some fun events to help spread excitement for FIRST and STEM education.
Already we have planned an open house and robot demo for anyone in the community, but we are looking at doing something that would be fun, and get some of the younger(and older) generations interested and excited.
We are thinking of doing something along the lines of a workshop type event with participants being able to build small robotics/electronics kits (I.E.
http://makeprojects.com/Project/Elec...it-Badge/82/1). These kits, only being $3 would be great for a workshop.
While they are not necessarily robotics kits, they would still be an interesting way to spark the interest of young people in the community!
We are just wondering what your team is planning on doing for national robotics week!?
